About the Visions Art Tour Society

Visions Art Tour Society was registered under the Society Act in the spring of 2001. A group of artists had held several years of successful art studio tours prior to becoming a society whose purposes are:

• To promote Cowichan Valley artists and their studios
• To offer open studio tours and demonstrations
• To offer artists an opportunity to gain exposure.
• To promote public awareness of Valley artists
• To encourage tourists to visit the area to view artists' studios and workshops

Visions Art Tour is a registered non-profit society with an elected executive that includes local artists and artisans living in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

The society was incorporated in 2001 to promote local artists by organizing an annual summer Visions Art Studio Tour & Sale when their home studios are open to the public.
