Sugarblade

Since their debut in 2004, Sugarblade has been playing relentlessly to rave reviews and an ever-growing loyal fan base. It became obvious after only a few live shows that Sugarblade was something special. The band released a 7-song EP entitled "Faux" in July of 2006, which has been selling steadily and exposing them to more and more fans.

Sugarblade are best-described as-Brit pop meets hard rock. If you are a fan of Muse, Morrisey, The Smiths, U2, Foo Fighters, or Stone Temple Pilots, you'll find something to like about Sugarblade. Passionate vocals, accomplished guitar playing, and a tight rhythm section combine for a familiar, yet distinctive sound. Sugarblade's 2nd album, "Deux", was released digitally in 2010.

With members of the band focusing on outside projects, Alec and Miguel have been focusing on a more acoustic approach to Sugarblade's live show. Fan response has been so positive, that an acoustic EP of some of the band's more popular songs is being planned in the near future. Stay tuned!
