Pamela Keld

Singer/songwriter who is a product of the Comox Valley. Pamela behan performing and studying music at an early age. Leaving home at 17, she moved to Vancouver to study at Capilano College, majoring in Vocal Jazz. For the last decade, she has honed her craft, performing for audiences from BC to Alberta. Cutting her teeth in a variety of venues and genres, she moved at ease from musical theatre to coffee houses, recording studios to local bands. R&B, Pop, or Jazz, she's enjoyed them all and developed her own personal style along the way.
Praised by Cindy Oxley of Edmonton's "Musicalmania" as having a "pure and angelic voice", vocal lovers are in for a treat.
Pamela is excited to present her debut album MAYBE. Her songs have well crafted lyrics, with powerful imagery, and are sung with raw emotion, complimented by her silky vocals.
As the title track and songs like "Sail Away" and "Dancing on Teardrops" hint at, they are about crossroads, broken hearts and personal strength. "Let us not forget what makes us all alike - our emotions...if you listen not only to the lyrics, but to the movement and feeling of the music, you will find a peice of yourself in every song."
