Cass King & the Cassettes

Cass King and the Cassettes combine classic R&B funk with scrappy garage rock energy. Comes out sounding kinda 80’s danceable post-punk. Think Joe Jackson and Tina Turner start a band with the News (minus Huey Lewis).

Vocalist Cass King, guitarist John Woods and drummer Adrian Buckley have played together for years in such bands as The Wet Spots and The Orchid Highway. Bassist Brendan Mooney tours internationally with numerous acts.
