John Rose

John Rose writes folk songs about love, land, and work. Inspired by both the grace and grit of life, his music builds a soft sonic edge.

His latest album entitled Kent County is a mixture of folk, country, and punk rock. Inspired by Jeff Lemire’s graphic novel Essex County, he tells stories of what Kent County, Ontario means to him and to history.
