Third Time's a Charm

Third Time’s a Charm is one of the newest bands to emerge from Eastern Ontario’s burgeoning next-gen rock scene. When former bandmates Brock Pettifer (drums), Joe Hauser (guitar), and Isaac Harvey (bass and keys) began casting about for a new front man, they struck gold when they found Belleville singer-songwriter Ryland Murray (vocals, guitar).

These multi-instrumentalists are channeling diverse musical influences to drive home a lyrical and sonic depth that is well beyond their years. TTaC was chosen as the opening act for The Wilderness at a sold-out show at Napanee’s Doghouse Studios this past March. The band will release its debut single, produced in partnership with Evergreen Recording Studios (Kingston), in May.

Band members have participated in numerous summer festivals, including the 2023 Howe Island Rockin’ the Rock festival, and have headlined Youth Rock Showcases at the Hotel Wolfe Island, the Tir Nan Og Irish Pub, and the Blu Martini.

The 2024 festival season will be a defining one as this great new band sets out to prove that the third time really is a charm!
