Digital Hobo is the wandering minstrel persona of singer-songwriter Scott Diehl. He creatively traverses connections, conversations, and landscapes to advocate for social and environmental justice. To see him play live is to laugh, cry and walk away with newfound Hope for our World.

In the musical traditions of Americana/Roots, Reggae, and Folk he amplifies the voices of humans and ecosystems, holding space for their rights. His three releases “21st Century Ballads”, “Power of Compassion” and “Climate Stories” immerse listeners into new visions of our collective future!

His debut album, “21st Century Ballads”, is a “retrospective look at the future”, taking on the Poly-crisis of climate change, global pandemics, and systemic racism. These songs show humanity’s ability overcome, survive, and thrive. His 2023 self-produced follow up EP, “Power of Compassion”, is a more introspective journey, exploring kindness, intimacy, love, and Buddhist philosophy. Now, Digital Hobo is releasing “Climate Stories” - a collection of songs telling the stories of Climate Scientists, Refugees, and Activists as they work to mitigate humanity’s most urgent challenge.
