About the BCCF

The BC Choral Federation was founded in 1978. The federation celebrated its 25th anniversary with a large birthday cake at a Chorfest in Kamloops in 2003.

The federation is headquartered in the Lower Mainland. Serving on the Board of Directors are representatives from all regions of BC.
The BCCF aims to:

1. Promote & encourage choral activity throughout British Columbia
2. Strengthen public and governmental awareness of choral plans and achievements
3. Serve as a communication resource for everyone involved

Membership in the BCCF is valid for a full year from whenever you join or renew, and gives you voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting at Chorfest each May.

EVENTS include a variety of choral activities such as an annual Chorfest, vocal workshops, choir management workshops, chorfests for children and seniors, a fund-raising raffle, etc.

BCCF NEWSLETTERS include information about choral activities across the province, throughout Canada and around the world from a network of other organizations in touch with the BCCF office. Choral Calendar, CBC listings, touring, festivals, new publications, employment opportunities and interesting articles keep our members well informed.
