Vancouver Island Hardcore Punk Society

Officially incorporated in 2009. VIHC Society has these goals.

The Vancouver Island Hardcore Punk Society exists in order to continue the tradition of safe, fun all-ages punk rock shows in the Greater Victoria region. In order to reach this goal, the Vancouver Island Hardcore Punk Society pledges to:

1. Continue promoting all-ages shows.

2. Perpetuate a culture of inclusiveness and openness within the punk rock scene.

3. Educate and inform the general public on the history and cultural relevance of hardcore.

4. Continue to promote our annual all-ages festival, which promotes local, national, and international talent, putting Victoria on the world stage.
