Event Description

This 2 hour workshop is taught by local Victoria artist Emma Pyle, who guides you through line drawing, lighting, shading, value, and colour with watercolours. Using eco-literacy principles from world-renowned artist and naturalist, Robert Bateman, we encourage participants to connect to nature through art and observation. This Watercolour Workshop takes place in the Rose Garden at Beacon Hill Park, a fittingly beautiful location to paint. Age 14+. Tickets are $50 for a 2 hour session.

• Watercolour Paper or Book
• Brushes (Water brush or regular is fine)
• Water and cup for painting
• Rag or paper towel
• Watercolour paint
• Sketchbook, pencil, and eraser
• Sunscreen, hat, water bottle, snack
