Named after Normand Bouchard, a long-time executive of the UBC Student Film Society (FilmSoc), the Norm Theatre is one of the most popular and well-used facilities at the Student Union Building (SUB) and is an integral part of the SUB Conference Services. With its rich past, the Norm has hosted speaking engagements from local notables David Suzuki and Mike Harcourt, hosted film festivals and regular screenings, and used for various conferences.
