The Cowichan Performing Arts Centre is a 731-seat proscenium arch theatre located in the Island Savings Centre, Duncan, BC. It has the largest stage/backstage area on Vancouver Island and one of the largest in the province.

Our performance season offers an exciting line up of professional music, dance, theatre and variety acts by local, national and international artists.

The Cowichan Performing Arts Centre lobby art gallery has monthly exhibitions of professional artists working in all media from the Cowichan Valley and Southern Vancouver Island.

Opened in 1978, the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre continues to serve the Cowichan Valley Region (over 80,000 in population) as a local Theatre, as well as the greater Vancouver Island area with our dynamic and diverse presentations, including many island exclusive presentations. The Theatre has recently invested in state of the art digital sound equipment, multi-media switching hardware, and new speaker system.
