Event Description

Peeking Through the Veil...a Celebration of the Cycle of Life.

The site and the procession route have been reversed from previous years. We begin in the all weather field at William and Cotton where altars, shrines, fire dancers and an ancestral dome help us prepare for our journey. Then, musical guides appear, beckoning us to travel down the river that flows to the other side. The sounds of the drum gives us courage and guides us along the way. The journey ends in Grandview Park where fire keepers illuminate our psyches and we are filled with the delight of life as we dance, dance, dance in the street!!!
