Event Description
ViVace returns for a 3rd season to offer Mozart's timeless, delightful masterpiece presented concert version in its entirety, with musical director Luke Housner presiding at the piano. The casts are a fine blend of local talent from the Vancouver area mixed with young professionals visiting from Oregon, New York, Calgary, Montreal, Boston, Illinois, North Carolina and California.This is Mr. Housner's 5th year of musically directing Concert Operas in Vancouver, Victoria, Toronto, Portland, OR and Bloomington, IN. Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel will be presented on the weekend of August 15-17, 2014.
