Event Description
Shindig! is CiTR’s 3o+ year old annual band competition, promoting new, local bands and providing great prizes! Shindig starts this Tuesday, October 20, 2015 and runs every Tuesday until December 15th, with semis on January 12 / 19 / 26 and the finals on Friday, February 5th.We have a new venue: Pat's Pub & Brewhouse at 403 East Hastings with locally made beer, jokes for beer and a great stage. CiTR DJs will spin after the bands! Get updates on twitter @citrshindig.
Along with exposure in the local music scene, entrants have the opportunity to win studio time, features in Discorder Magazine, music industry consultations, and showcases with Music Waste Festival, Canadian Music Week, and AMS Events.
Cover is $6 at the door, 19+.
