High School Poetry Slam Championships
Event Description
The flagship of Victorious Voices is the High School Poetry Slam Championships where teams from 8 Vancouver Island high schools go head to head for the #VicVoices championship.We also have feature performances from some of Canada’s top spoken word artists and free workshops led by skilled facilitators.
Kicking off the festival this year’s semis feature 9 teams from across the south Island as they battle for finals stage. $5
*Please note venue change: this year’s semi-finals will be held at the Vic Theatre, not the VEC.
