Event Description
He's back for one night only! Gabriel El Huracán is an energetic, intuitive, and passionate tango dancer and teacher based in of Montreal QC but travels all over North America and the Caribbean, offering his teaching skill and good humour. He will be touring the west coast again this Spring and we are lucky to book him in for a friday night pre-milonga class at Cafe Casablanca which he will be teaching with local dancer and teacher, Tracey Victoria!Class topic: Cross system giros
Turns, molinetes or giros are essential components for navigating a packed dance floor and punctuating the music of vals, tango and milonga. You can never work too much on leading or following an on-axis giro. We will explore the giro in both open and close embrace in cross system. Appropriate for all levels of tango dancer.
Cost: $20 workshop (includes milonga, 9 - 11:30pm)
