Event Description
Two exciting days and a dozen great blues bands - the Chemainus Valley Blues Festival will be a highlight of the year on Vancouver Island for all who enjoy quality blues music.Relax and enjoy this wonderful weekend in the beautiful surroundings of Waterwheel Park in Chemainus, beneath the great Douglas firs and giant cedars of this unique music venue. The festival is conveniently located for blues lovers from the Cowichan Valley, Duncan, Ladysmith, Nanaimo and Victoria.
Admission is by a suggested donation of $20 per day, or just $30 for the full weekend.
Bands include: David Vest, Bill Johnson, Lazy Mike & the Rockin' Recliners, Dave Harris, Shades (featuring Gene Grooms), Renovation Blues Band, Lady V & Key Krasher, Gary Preston, Mark Crissinger, Curl, and Deb Rhymer.
