Event Description
This day is made for local dancers aged 11+, and is a day full of education, inspiration, and dance! RNS Dance Inc is made up of two local gals who have been dancing and teaching on the island for over 20 years. Bringing together faculty from the Vancouver area, and showcasing local entrepreneurs, this day is going to be an amazing day for dancers of Victoria!The day starts with a group warm with Caleigh and Desiree from RNS Dance. From there dancers can choose their class based on level (intermediate, advanced, or pre-professional/adult) OR on the style of dance (tons of hiphop, jazz, or contemporary to choose from!). Our faculty are teachers from the Vancouver area who are currently working in the industry and can help give dancers the education they need to take dance to the next level. Dancers will have access to 4 specialty classes during the day.
In the "RNS Marketplace" you can dance to a Live DJ, get your makeup and head-shot done, view upcoming dance jobs in the area, get advice on how to build your resume, grab some fresh healthy food, pick up some swag, buy some customized stamped jewelry, seek out information on lashes, or speak to a Naturapathic Doctor on how to keep yourself healthy through intense dance training! The market is open 11:30-2:00 and serves our dance community but is also open to the public!
To finish off the day, all dancers will head to Caleigh and Desiree for a freestyle battle, followed by a stretch and relaxation to end an awesome day!
