Event Description

Award-winning BC author Carol M. Cram (The Towers of Tuscany, A Woman of Note) presents The Muse of Fire, which completes her historical fiction trilogy about women in the arts. The presentation features readings from all 3 novels and highlights the various art forms that inspired them. Carol also welcomes questions about writing & publishing.

The Muse of Fire: Set against the tumultuous backdrop of the longest running theatrical riot in British history, a young actress makes her debut at the famed Theatre Royal, Covent Garden, and becomes ensnared by intrigues and setbacks that mar the pathway to stardom she craves.

Carol lives on beautiful Bowen Island with her husband, artist Gregg Simpson.
