Event Description

Impress your friends with your ability to identify ship types, their cargos and local destinations! Come to the Maritime Museum of BC for an overview of the deep sea ships that call at B.C. ports, including a briefing about their handling characteristics as it relates to interaction with small craft. You’ll come away with a better understanding of the issues involving safely navigating large ships in our waters and how boaters can and should continue to play a part in keeping our waters safe.
