Event Description

Lynette will share how to embroider bead, aka flat stitch, using a one needle and thread method. Beading will include a four petal flower outline on wool felt and beaded edging to attach the hide backing. Once the flower outline is complete, the history and knowledge of tufting hair will be shared. For this project, a supply of ethically sourced reindeer hair will be used. This is a mixed media, contemporary style of using traditional knowledge and materials.
