Eine Kleine Summer Music will open the 2023 season with American violinist Stefan Jackiw in recital with New York based pianist Jun Cho. Stefan Jackiw is one of North America’s foremost violinists, captivating audiences with playing that combines poetry and purity with impeccable technique. Stefan last appeared with EKSM in 2018. Much in demand as a piano collaborator, Jun Cho has performed in major venues throughout the U.S., South Korea, and Europe. Their program includes the Suite Italienne from Stravinsky’s neo-classical period, Brahms’ Violin Sonata in D minor, and Richard Strauss’ Violin Sonata in E flat major.
