David Vest and his band explore Americana music, which has exploded in popularity despite being hard to define. Americana ranges from jazz to folk to alt-country, with plenty of room for the blues. Expect to hear songs by artists such as Rhiannon Giddens, Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, John Prine, Ramsey Lewis, Emmylou Harris, Jason Isbell, Hank Jones, Charlie Haden, etc., as well as a few Vest originals. Whoever wrote them, they're sure to have that unique Vest spin on them.
