Event Description
Get Your Goth on at The Fringe!Loosely based on the insect-eating madman from Bram Stoker’s “Dracula,” Renfield sits in his cell at the asylum, awaiting the arrival of his “Master” from Transylvania. Told at times from the point-of-view of the insects he has eaten, Renfield’s troubled past is finally revealed. Bizarre, poetic and moving.
Stripped of locality and time period, the piece is ultimately a condemnation of those who wield power over the powerless.
