Event Description

The Community Arts Council of Vancouver (CACV) presents the 7th annual Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival (VOAF) at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre from Oct. 12–17, 2023. This year’s edition of Canada’s first and only outsider arts festival will be bigger than ever, with five days of programming, new workshops co-presented by BC Culture Days, and a special film screening by the Outsider Arts Festival from Helsinki, Finland. Visitors can experience work from 40 visual artists, 13 performing artists, and three art groups — from photography to painting, jazz to drag, and much more. VOAF promotes equity while amplifying the work of artists and performers who live and work outside of the mainstream.
