Event Description
Garden City Electronic Music Society, and Victoria Conservatory of Music present a Synth Petting Zoo and workshops on Sunday Nov 26. Come winddown the festival will some good people and good gear on Sunday. See you there!SYNTH PETTING ZOO is where local electronic musicians gather with select gear and let the curious public try it out and ask questions of the owners. Come experience a variety of vintage and contemporary synthesizers, drum machines, DIY devices and software instrumentations. This is a great opportunity for those who are new to electronic music to learn how to get started and try out instruments without the pressures of a retail environment.
WORKSHOPS led by faculty members of the Victoria Conservatory of Music's School of Music Technology and Creativity will take place throughout the event in breakaway rooms.
