Event Description
Multiple Maple Blues Award winner David Vest and his red hot band will be Rockin' and Shouting' the Blues in their first show of 2025, turning Hermann's into a good-times Gulf Coast juke joint, playing blues classics with a healthy helping of David's original tunes.The band features Damian Graham on drums, Ryan Tandy on bass, and Tom Bowler on guitar and vocals. As for their leader, it was blues legend Jimmy T99 Nelson who said, "I could go all around the world and never find a piano player like David Vest."
Vest, the son of an Alabama sharecropper, played his first professional gig in 1957, and in 2025 he is still on the world-wide blues charts. In fact, according to Roots Music Report, his most recent recording, CrissCross, debuted at #3 on the Canada chart, with airplay from Adelaide to Zurich.
