Unity (1918) is a poignant play that delves into the lives of a small Saskatchewan town during the tumultuous period of the first World War and the devastating Spanish Flu outbreak. Infused with biting dark humour and a deeply human touch, playwright Kevin Kerr's Governor General's Award-winning play tells the story of ordinary townsfolk quarantined under the shadow of death. Unity (1918) offers ample pleasures, including haunting musical accompaniment.
