“Lyrical melodies, hard-hitting polyrhythms, EST/Tigran-style progressive grooves and no shortage of Aussie humour…” – JazzwiseGiving up the dream of competing in the World Surf League, Brekky Boy decided to take a crack at jazz, creating an unpredictable live show that infuses electronica, beat music, jazz improvisation and chucking things at band members when they're trying to solo. The Montreux Jazz Award nominee has since gone on to support Snarky Puppy, Ambrose Akinmusire, Theo Croker and has gained international acclaim touring the world performing at SXSW, Montréal International Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Jazzahead and more. Living on the South Coast of NSW, Australia, Brekky Boy has remained fully independent, amassing millions of views on TikTok and Instagram—primarily for terrible renditions of popular songs.
