Astrology Girl - Calgary
Emo is back, and there’s no question that Calgary’s Astrology Girl is part of that fact. Harkening back to the big tent era of the early 2000s, the band wretches and delights in over-the-top emotions set to bristling punk.
INONOTHING - Canmore
What happens when you take the founding fathers of Canmore's most pronounced heavy rock bands SNUG and ¡BAWANG! and throw them in a damp claustrophobic room stuffed with dusty overpowered amps, off sale discount beer and cheap mood lighting?! Make up some fake cliche names like Josh, Mike and Cory and you just birthed "INONOTHING". A relentless unapologetic assault of decibels at a rate of knots from a bunch of guys that easily exceed the average of twice the legal drinking age.
