Event Description

The Sista'Hood Launch Party: Performing Gender includes:

Herculine’s 1000 Names – A performance by Maya Suess and the Gender Café questioning the solidity of human identity by exploring the possibility that cyborgs may live amongst us.

The Gender Cafe: This facilitated interactive workshop will bring the artists and audience to an understanding of gender beyond the prevalent binary system. Availability is limited, please RSVP to [email protected].

A Photo Exhibition from the XX Boys Project by Kael T Block (Paris) and UberSlϋt.com.

A dance party featuring local artists: Unspoken, DJ Buzy B and Freaky DNA.

Space is limited for the workshop, you must RSVP (see above). After 10 pm the doors will open to the public.
