Event Description
Celebrate the start of Open Farms at the Frontenac Farmers Market.This special kickoff event will feature an afternoon of local makers and producers, live music, food and drink vendors, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
Join us at 4 p.m. for opening remarks from community leaders and event organizers as we officially kick off the Open Farms initiative.
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to the experience, this is a great opportunity to connect with local producers, enjoy the best of Frontenac County’s rural charm, and learn more about what’s ahead for Open Farms this year.
The kickoff event is hosted at the Frontenac Farmers Market. The market operates every Friday from early May to late October from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Its more than a market – Its a place for community to gather. The market often features special events and activities with families in mind.
Please bring cash for the vendors. Plan on staying for dinner and enjoying the music and atmosphere.
