Marten Borch is a singer-songwriter known for his raw authenticity, heartfelt lyrics, and a deep commitment to using music as a tool for connection and change. Influenced by folk, Celtic, swing, and even a touch of EDM, his sound weaves together old-world roots and modern energy. On stage, Borch performs solo - but you’d never guess it. The sheer fullness of his sound, rhythm, and presence often leaves audiences convinced they’re hearing a full band. Popping down to the pub on a Friday evening to catch up with friends and neighbours is a time-honoured tradition - and we’re keeping it alive with Community Fridays.
Every Friday from November through April, we feature local singers, songwriters, and small acoustic bands from 5-7pm. The atmosphere is easygoing and unpretentious - music that blends naturally into the buzz of the taproom, adding warmth and a sense of connection. It’s the perfect way to unwind and welcome the weekend.
And because good times pair best with good beer, enjoy Happy Hour $6 pints from 4–7 pm every Community Friday. Cheers to that! 🍻
