Join the UVic Chamber Singers for a concert that explores the profound beauty where poetry and music converge. Conducted by Brian WIsmath, enjoy choral works by composers from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and the Baltic region, spanning both contemporary and historic traditions. The program includes the Canadian premiere of Joanna Marsh’s Emerald Sleep, evocative modern works such as Ēriks Ešenvalds’s Northern Lights and Jeff Beal’s A Very Long Moment, alongside enduring sacred masterworks by Rachmaninoff, Bruckner, and Byrd.
