Jason Kent from Young Petty Stones returns to The Cove Inn for a performance of the best in classic 50’s to 90’s rock ‘n roll and B-Sides on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 5-8pm.

Jason plays in Young Petty Stones, a perennial favourite of The Cove audiences, and writes and performs with his own band Sunfields from Montreal. “Imagine Elliot Smith hanging out with Tom Petty in the back of Neil Young’s van while listening to Sparklehorse.”
Acid-laced pop Sunfields is the brain child of Jason Kent. The quartet hails from Montreal. Their debut, Palace in the Sun (2010), was described as “…the most overlooked album of 2010.'”HABITAT, their sophomore, is “…blossoming like a field of poppies in a rainy English field.”
