The UVic Concert Band presents Retro, a program that reflects on the evolving sound of the modern wind ensemble—from early symphonic band classics to vibrant contemporary voices. Featuring works by Alfred Reed, Charles Carter, Cait Nishimura, Frank Ticheli, and more, the performance highlights the colours, energy, and expressive possibilities that have shaped wind band music over the last 100 years.
