Fred Frith steps across the border into the west coast to Victoria BC for a performance at The Mint Thursday April 30th. A pioneering electric guitarist and improviser, song-writer, and composer of avant-rock and free improvisation. Founding member of Henry Cow, Art Bears, Massacre, and Skeleton Crew. Has worked with a wide range of artists, including Brian Eno, John Zorn, Robert Wyatt, and Mike Patton and more..



Phipps Pt. is the duo of Lovage Sharrock and Jon Leidecker. Free improvisation, acid folk and ambient electronics, the music Sharrock and Leidecker create is a conversation between two artists and longtime friends.



Canadian musician Lovage Sharrock retutns to Island roots for this special performance. Including Nanaimo and Courtenay.



Jon Leidecker ( Wobbly ) is an active member of both the seminal experimental group Negativland, and the Thurston Moore Ensemble. Wobbly has collaborated with artists including Matmos, Dieter Moebius (Cluster), Tania Chen, Fred Frith, Tim Story, David Toop, Zeena Parkins, and People Like Us..
